We are after one of the largest armwrestling events in Poland - XI Polish Cup. The event was hosted by Millennium Sports Hall of Kołobrzeski Sports and Recreation Centre, and the direct the organization was undertaken by KTKFSiR "COTE" Kołobrzeg with Mr Miroslaw Kabacińskim in the vanguard.

For two consecutive days (27-28 November 2010) nearly 150 best Polish armwrestlers came to Kolobrzeg. On the first day of the Cup contestants competed for right hand while on the second day for left hand. In the overall team classification the best of two-day competition was a club ran by Artur Glowinski - Złoty Orzeł Choszczno. MCKiS Titanium Jaworzno ranked the second. UKS 16 Koszalin was  the third.

Of course, as it happens in the such a competition we expirienced a lot of emotion, adrenaline and turbulence in all of the age and weight classes. For two days, Kołobrzeg had the opportunity to watch the best Polish competitors, often of an international format. Of course, in particular classes once favorites, and another time competitors who in earlier pronosis were not taken into account, won. But the most important element of rivalry of the annual Polish Cup competition is to select of the strongest man and woman of the current year in the Open.

Regarding women's competition Marlena Wawrzyniak from Grudziadz proved to be unbeatable. The gap between her and other contestants was visible to the naked eye.

Marlena easily won all the fights, showing that at the moment she is the strongest armwrestler for right and left hand in Poland. As for the other medal place in the women's open class Marlen's wards - Milena Morczyńska and Marta Opalinska deserve praise. Milena won the bronze for left hand and silver for right. Whereas Marta silver for left and bronze for right. Other competitors simply had no chance with a well-prepared reprezentatives of UKS Arm Fantic Sport Grudziądz.

Among men
since last year there have been changes, changes and once again changes. A revelation of the competition certainly was Marcin Sklaski from Piaseczno. The competitor with a less than two years' training experience in a murderous and long final duel of the open class defeated the left-hand silver medalist of the Professionals' World Cup 2009, and the defender of the title of the champions Strongest Pole for left hand - Dariusz Muszczak from Myszków. It was certainly a surprise for all cup observers. So we have a new champion of the super-heavy class. Dariusz returned home with a silver medal, both in the left and right hand rivalry. Mariusz Grochowski from Jaworzno, still in a good shape, ranked third for left and right. However, in right hand rivalry in the absence of - the last year's winner Grzegorz Nowak from Gdynia, incredibly prepared Piotr Bartosiewicz from Choszczno won (though not easily). Our congratulations.
