Maciej Gralak, a titled Polish armwrestler is preparing for Nemiroff World Cup. He found some time for a brief conversation. Read on, as he expects the start in the Cup.

Red: How would you rate the past season, what were the major starts, successes and failures?
Maciej Gralak: The most important start in 2011 is so far ahead of me. It will be Nemiroff World Cup. So far in this year's starts I regard the start at the Polish Championships in Nisk as the biggest success. I won two titles there, two titles of the Polish Champion in disabled class and two titles of Vice champion in my senior 60 kg class. I also started with good results in very well prepared and well stuffed local tournaments in Blonie and Ciechocinek.

Red: Did you expect to be called in the Polish National Team for Nemiroff Cup?
Maciej: I was surprised with being called up. It glad because of that. Nemiroff World Cup is the most prestigious tournament in the world.

Start in it is the ennoblement for a player like me, who is still aware of his shortcomings and necessity of their liquidation. At the World Cup there will be many talented and strong players in my category (as in other ones). It will be hard but I will fight.

Red: What did you change, did you change anything in your preparations, training?
Maciej: I created a plan training myself, particularly for the World Cup. I applied there many different exercises that I had previously consulted with more experienced players. Colleagues. I attended a seminar with Rustam Babayevem. Elements, which the Master pointed out I used in the preparations. Andrzej Glabaaa and Marcin Lachowicz prompted me lots of interesting solutions.

Red: How’s your mental attitude?
Maciej: Fighting attitude as usual! I will fight for the highest places, I would like come off well and show my best side. I practice really hard and do everything to achieve the best results. I believe that hard work will bring the desired effects.
