Lucia Debnarova

AGE: 25

ACHIEVEMENTS: 5x world Champion, 3x European champion

PROFESSION: Personal trainer

Are you ready to defend your titles?

Lucia - Right now I’m preparing myself for the European Championships. For me, it is just the first bigger competition this year ( I do not count Senec Hand where I competed). So it will be good to see in what shape I’m right now. Together with my trainer I decided to compete at “A1” and Nemiroff World Cup this year. So this will be a good test.

Are you afraid of Arzu Donmez, Malgorzata Ostrowska or maybe somebody else?

Lucia - No, I’m not afraid of anybody. It’s just a sport. Sometimes you lose, next time you win. But I’m ready to kick some ass.

Did you change anything in your life and training?

Lucia - This year I passed a personal trainer certification exam, so I can work as a personal trainer and I practice Armwrestling. I change my Armwrestling training very often (everything depends on my form, and on what I need to improve- I focus on my weak points).

What are your expectations for the championships?

Lucia - I expect good matches as well as some new stars in our sport. And of course I’m hoping to win some medals, so do my Slovak team!

What about the Slovak team? Are they ready?

Lucia - As far as I know everybody is working hard in preparation for the competition and they are doing really well. But we train separately, so I don’t see them very often.

Thanks Lucia and see you in Lithuania!

Lucia - Best regards to the readers!
