The first day of the World Championship in Bulgaria, which has presented to fans of armwrestling a real sea of emotions, a lot of spectacular fights, and of course, the new world champion among young men and juniors on the left hand. ()

Some of the athletes deserve special attention.

In the junior girls 55 kg category the final clash was between the Japanese athlete Ayane Takenaka and a young student of Andrey Pushkar – Julia Tochinskaya. Unfortunately, Julia could not provide decent resistance to his opponent, but the ending was very charged. In fact, girls’ mood, with which they came to the fight, it made all clear – it was a real final.

World Champion among girls under the age of 18 in the category of 60 kg became incredibly talented Elin Yanehaym. This young girl is only 14 years old. Elin won a final without a fight, her opponent did not come to the table, but judging by the preliminary fights, she is a clear favorite of her category, and her victory is absolutely deserved.

Distinguished stood out the 75 kg category in young men up to 21 years. Athletes’ level in this category was extraordinary. In the difficult struggle victory got Georgian athlete Oniani Bethke.

Traditionally, Russian team showed good results both juniors and youth. Guys have a lot of different medals. This suggests that armwrestling developing among youth in Russia. One of the most prominent representatives of the Russian national team is Soslan Gasiev, who pulled in the category up to 90 kg and took the first place there.

Sportsmen had a hard time, their excitement was evident, they opened this World Championship. We are sure that tomorrow it will be easier mentally, and they will show even more fights that are exciting.
