17 Ukrainian Championships - the 2nd Day Right # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

Yesterday (14th April 2011) the second day of the national competition, 17th in turn Championships of Ukraine was held. Just like the previous day 245 best armwrestlers from Ukraine stood tocompete in a rivalry this time for the right hand.

We have already known the Champions of Ukraine of the year 2011 for left and right hand. Like the day before (for left hand), the same as yeaterday, the right hand competition was very tough. But there could be only one winner. Here are a few of them:

Artem Tainov from the Crimea easily won the second gold meda lin the 80kg class. In the next class - up to 85kg the winner of the left hand form the previous day - Ievgenii Prudnik, this time he came in the third place.

In the class of 90 there were no changes - Rustam's younger brother - Ruslan Babyev regaind again . A very good start had Evgeni Litovcev, who in the up to 110 kg class beat all competitors and won the gold medal of the right hand. As usual, Andrey Pushkar won easily the 110 kg class.

In the team competition the 1st place was won by the team from Kharkov, the 2nd place accounted for the Crimea - with Andrey Sharkov at the helm. The 3rd place on the podium rached the team from Poltava.

As we got to know in a telephone conversation with the stewards of the Ukrainian Armwrestling, the National Team will count about 40 - 45 people. And among them there will be only the best ones - Ukrainian competitors who, as usual, will fight for the highest step of the podium of the European Championships - Turkey 2011.
