On the 17th October an international tournament, "Judgement Day 2010" was held in the beautiful capital of Hungary - Budapest. This year, Poland was represented by only two contestants - Marlena Wawrzyniak and Marta Opalińska from Arm Fanatic Sport. As every year, to the great SPORTMAX hall many representatives of European countries - a huge amount from Hungary and Slovakia, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Austria, Macedonia, Serbia and Switzerland came. The competition itself was a part of the "FitParade" - trade fairs and sports shows.

The rivalry began with the two-hour delay, which, combined with staying in a stuffy room made competitors already tired before the start. At the end of the juniors fights were begun. In the junior OPEN class for left and right hand Martin Opalinska turned to be the best.

Then the seniors  fight began. The competition began with the women-60kg class. The Junior from Grudziądz smashes into the final of the left hand.

There she did not let the host - Judith Zsirainé to get away the victory housewife, winning her third gold that day. In the right hand rivalry, Marta entered the semifinals after long struggles. There she yielded another Hungarian competitors  after a fierce fight, ranking 3rd on the podium.

The turn of the ladies +60kg class came, in which Marlena Wawrzyniak took off for right hand only. Already in the first fight was the Pole met a very strong and experienced hosts’ athlete. Unfortunately, in the first struggle, after committing a foul the Hungarian acted contrary to "fair play" principles and caused an injury of our representative. In a fit of adrenaline Marlena did not give her rival any chances beating her with a stronger wrist in the second clash. Unfortunately the injury turned to be so uncomfortable that a competitor from Grudziądz could not take up an equal fight  against a very demanding rivals as the World Champion - Lucia Debnarova. Despite this, she ranked 3rd, adding the bronze medals to the medal pool.

Our competitors  presented a great form in Budapest. Gained medals only confirm that and give good predictions for other upcoming events. Our congratulations!
