After Zloty Tour, part 1 >>>

After Zloty Tour, part 1 # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

Passion after Zloty Tur is slightly subsided, and we can look at what happened in details. ()

Women's categories.

In the category of 52 kg both hands Snezhana Babayeva from Slovakia got gold without intrigue and chances for the other. As she said, these victories were given to her easily.

The absolute champion up to 57 kg became Viktoria Ilyushina from Ukraine. It was also predictable; Victoria is very experienced and strong athlete. Almost in all competitions, where she takes part, she is on top of the pedestal.

The smallest category of the girls was the category up to 65 kg. A young and talented athlete from Kazakhstan Ekaterina Lyakhova was a champion on both hands. If her right hand victory was fairly easy, then on her left hand in the final it was a real drama. Katya reached the final with one defeat, where the star of the Polish and world armwrestling, experienced Marlena Wawrzyniak waited for her. In these finals there were protracted struggle and fouls, and scandals with the protests. As a result, Kate was a victorious and took the gold medal.

Category 65 kg was full of eminent athletes. It is noteworthy that the world champion from Brazil Gabriela Vasconcelos didn’t get in the top three prizes for a single hand. At the beginning of the category she showed a good fight and win on both hands Antonina Lissyanskya from Kazakhstan, but later Antonina got a rematch and went to the final stage.

A winner again becomes Egle Vaitkute from Latvia, which regained a debt for Antonina for the defeat at the Worlds in Bulgaria.

Men's category.

The most lightweight category for men (up to 63 kg) brought together 18 participants (on the left hand participated 13). On the left hand last year's champion from Georgia Vilen Gabrava won. He delighted his fans and rehabilitated for not very good performance at the Worlds, where he became only the eighth. On the right hand Vilen finished third and Rustembek Talgatbek became the champion. It is noteworthy that the current champion of Europe on the right hand Ashot Adamyan was the last (18th) in the tournament.

In the category of 70 kg I would like to mention the performance of junior sportsman Moldova - Daniel Procopciuc. In his debut at the Zloty Tour, Daniel took the second place on the left and the fifth on the right hand and showed a nice fight. On the left hand the gold took Mindaugas Tarasaitis from Lithuania, last year silver medalist. On the right hand undefeated to the finals went the athlete from Azerbaijan - Tabriz Safarov, which in the preliminary matches defeated Zair Akhmedov from Kazakhstan. Zair eventually reached the final and found the key to victory over Tabriz. Twice he opened the wrist of his opponent and went up to the top of the pedestal.
