You have been away for two years, you came to Russia for A1, you won. Now you deserve for a rest, but firstly a few words about those two years.

Alexey: For two years I haven’t taken part in any competition and that influenced on my performance in this tournament, especially in left hand fights. It’s all complicated and different, tan at a first sight. After the disqualification I haven’t been training for eight months. I was woeful. Many people judged me, they told me to forget about back to Armwrestling. But I decided to come back and prove – not them – myself. I have such character that I don’t give up.  I’ve been in Armwrestling for 17 years and I haven’t give any duel without a fight!

Was it hard to win at A1?

Alexey: Level of preparation of competitors for those two years rose distinctly, and I missed fighting at the tournament. At home I trained with machines, I made sparring, but it’s not the same like fighting on a full throttle at tournament.

I met here Arsen Liliev, I remember him from two years before in category 70kg and now he’s an ‘ARM MACHINE’. Competitors are making progress and it’s harder to win.

What’s your feeling after the A1 tournament?

Alevey: The tournament in on a high level, efficiently organized, without problems, I don’t have anything to refereeing too. Prizes are huge, there is nothing to compare to. Level of the competitors get really well. After two years of absence I was ready to fight with everyone. ABSOLUTE was very interesting to me, as everyone from starting I wanted to win. But Denis was unbeatable. Denis is my countryman, neighbor, I think that for today he has no equal. Andrey and Arsen are my friends, but for the time being I must say that he has no competition.

What are your plans for the rest of the season?

Alexey: I’m preparing for taking part in NEMIROFF WORLD CUP 2012 in a category +95kg, to win.
