On 23th July 2011 in the city of Nowaya Chara the “BAM Iron Hand” tournament took place for the 6th time in a row. The prize pool of 350,000 roubles and a wonderful place of rest – that’s what organizers of the most of armwrestling tournament in Russia and worldwide can envy.
  
Fighters from Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Chity, Omsk, Irkutsk, Rostov, Moscow, Vladikavkaz and other cities of Russia arrived to Chary. Among them, several champions of international class: World Champion Maksim Chersky, silver medallist of the last Russian Championship of Vitaliy Laletin, Russian and World Champion Ivan Matyushenko, multiple Russian Champion from South Ossetia Kostanov Valera, multiple World and European champion - an inhabitant of Noway Chara, Alexander Voronetsky 

Organization of the event was on a  very high level, largely thanks to Anton Tarasov - the first champion of the "BAM Iron Hand"  tournament. Fights were held in five weight classes: 60, 70, 80, 90, 90+ kg. Prizes were: for the first place - 30 thousand, for the second - 20 thousand. and for the third place - 10 thousand roubles.

At the end of the tournament the Open category took place. According to the tradition of this tournament to emerge the strongest in this category, and the entire tournament, the first two competitors had to face in five-rounds duel. Each won round was awarded with 10 thousand roubles. Finally, in the super finals met Vitaliy Lalentin and Ivan Matyushenko. In the first three rounds the fight was fought according to a similar scenario: breaking - a  tying up in belts and ... Ivan manages to enter the hook and eventually wins. In the fourth round Vitaliy unexpectedly strikes an opponent's hand and draws it to the side pad. In the last round Ivan wraps opponent’s wrist and wins the round, ending the whole duel with a score of 4-1. Congratulations.
