On the 27th of January the Suwalki High School Armwrestling Championships took place for a cup of the Director of the School Complex no. 6, which initiator and organizer was students council in Ewa Frydrych - Moldenhawer’s care. Also Andrzej Górski and Mirosław Zajko helped while organizing the tournaments. Over 20 students from various schools in Suwalki took part in the tournaments.

Marcin Sacharzewski who makes great progresses is deserving of credit as well as Łukasz Boksz - 16 years old student who weights about 70kg and managed to win all his fights with no effort, as well as 75 kg class and left hand OPEN. In the rivalry of right hand OPEN class he was defeated only by Marcin Sacharzewski, the silver medallist of the last Polish Amateurs Championships of 86 kg class. They were the two competitors who dominated the tournaments. .

Because of his previous serious injury of the left hand Marcin Sacharzewski did not started at left hand OPEN class but as he said, he would be soon ready to take part at the tournaments in Tomaszów Mazowiecki for amateurs and at the Polish Championships in Gdynia for the professionals.
