The absolute winner of the Professionals' World Cup - Nemiroff World Cup - Sopot 2010 - Denis Cyplenkov from Russia is preparing to a start at this year's Arnold Sports Festival 2011. The popular Arnold Classic will be held from 3rd to 6th March. as usual in the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio - the USA. At this year's event over 40 sports disciplines will show, including Armwrestling, so the tournament, "Arnold Armwrestling Challenge". 

Many fans of armwrestling has been comparing these two major events (Nemiroff World Cup vs Arnold Armwrestling Challenge). Of course, as it happens in comparisons opinions are divided. To dispel the myth of the level of both events Denis Cyplenkov decided to take part at this year's Arnold Classic. On 5th and 6th March the Russian competitor will face mainly American armwrestlers who have not yet had the opportunity to arrive at Nemiroff World Cup. 

"My trainings before the Arnold Classic 2011 began in early January, which means that I have in fact only two months of preparations. The period of preparations for Nemiroff World Cup 2011 was a little bit longer - more than 3 months. Treating serious both events I do not rule out that my success will depend on the supplied form" - Denis Cyplnekov said in a telephone conversation. 

At Nemiroff World Cup on Denis weighed 142kg. At present, his weight is 138kg. For such a competitor the difference of 4 kg affects nothing. In turn, as Denis says himself, in strength exercises he is not reaching the level they had presented at Nemiroff World Cup, but he will try hard to have the same level just before the Arnold Classic. 

  

"As of today, I exercise 5 times a week. This weekend I have plans to make a big sparring, inter alia with Ivan Matiushenko, Roman Filipov and other armwrestlers" - Denis Cyplenkov continued. 

The greatest emphasis on training Denis is putting on his wrist. Last year he got a thick handle to regulated lift the machinery at Mazurenko Armwrestling Equipment, and as he says: "Working on a hoist with this simple device resulted at the Nemiroff World Cup". 

Recently, Denis is also supported by a Polish company that produces nutritional supplements and supplements for athletes of FitMax brand. And as he says, "through appropriate supplementation I am gaining both more rapid regeneration and increase of strength results." 

We can only wish Denis a great form and good start at this year's "Arnold Armwrestling Challenge".
