"This man has done a lot for a professional league, – emphasizes Igor Mazurenko. – Thanks to David Shead we have a table for armwrestling, which has passed all the required certification tests and is approved by the international community and federations".

Professional Armwrestling League will not change the rules of armwrestling, which are embedded in WAF, except some points. It's a couple of things and they do not contradict the rules of WAF. One of them is refereeing with a camera. "At the European and world championships camera is not considered at all, there are two referees at the table. In PAL we introduce camera instead of one side referee. At the same time at the Professional World Cup, for example, we never have protests. Why? Because if referee has some doubts, he would not give a foul before camera. If the rules are really broken and someone has doubts about it, he goes and watches the camera.

"Back in 2001 at Zloty Tur, David Shead and we tested laser pointer to determine the center of the table. It is also planned to introduce. Maybe design will look a little bit strange, because the table is already full of electronics, but in fact any referee at World and European championships can’t identify the center of the table position. But we know that a couple of centimeters can decide the result of the match. So, sooner or later, we will implement this innovation, proposed 15 years ago by Shead", – says Mazurenko.

David Shed is the one of those, who travels around the countries and teaches and trains new young referees. Thanks to him the Polish team, for example, has about 20 experienced referees such as Monica Duma, Judita Lasota, Piotr Szczerba. It happened because of David’s hard work.
