Fight forecasts: Tim Bresnan vs Dmitry Silaev, Khadzymurat Zoloev vs Chris Chandler and Vazgen Soghoyan vs Hristo Delidjakov. ()

Tim Bresnan vs Dmitry Silaev match up will be interesting. Tim is not a fast puller but one of the most solid pullers that i have ever seen. His victory against Alexy Voevoda was historical. He may be written in the history of the armwrestling as the person who made Voevoda to quit armwrestling. In fact Tim has wins against many of the top pullers in the world for the last 10 years. His pronator is solid like rock and he creates a great synergy with his powerful wrist. From other side Silaev is a rising star of the heavyweight world. He looks kind of over weighed but he is probably faster than most of the light weight guys and his speed makes huge difference in the superheavyweight league.

I can say that Bresnan is stronger than Silaev but Silaev’s speed can cause problems to Bresnan. So the result of this match will be up to the start i believe. Once Bresnan stops Silaev then Bresnan will most likely win that match but there is a possibility for Silaev to flash Bresnan.

My prediction is 5-1 for Bresnan.

Hadzimurat Zoloev vs Chris Chandler is a nice match up. Zoloev is much lighter than Chris but somehow i just can not see Zoloev losing against Chandler. Not that Chandler is not as strong as Zoloev but i just can not see Chandler finishing Zoloev in hook, neither seeing Chandler toprolling Zoloev.

Don’t get me wrong, i don’t expect an easy win for Zoloev either. Chrish has powerful arms and i am sure that esspecially the early rounds there will be some wars there but it is hard to end Hadzi without joint involvement and not sure if Chris can do such thing. Chris’s a possible toprolling try may be countered with Zoloev’s toproll attack as well. One thing i am sure of is that Zoloev will show up in a better shape than how he was at Arnold Classic 2015.

My prediction is 5-1 for Zoloev

Vazgen Soghoyan vs Hristo Delidjakov is a smart match up. I have seen them pulling twice till now. Once Vazgen beat Hristo without much problems in 2014 WAF in Lithuania. Vazgen just curled and pressed Hristo there. And the other one was in 2015 WAF in Malaysia and there Hristo won by elbow fouls as far as i remember. But there Vazgen was not able to hook Hristo on that day. This match is an interesting one and very hard to predict. All i know is that Hristo should keep the game outside at least in fresh matches. If the match continues in a position between hook and toproll then i am guessing Hristo to win those matches as he is a smart puller to survive once he equals the strength level. Of course we need to know the shape that athletes will be in on july but right now i see Hristo having slightly better chance.

My prediction is 4-2 Hristo or 3-3
