Coming European Armwrestling Championships carry some important for our competitors regulation changes. We ask for acquainting them before the arrival, in order to avoid Any surprises on the premises.

1.    New weight class Junior women 65kg

At one of the latest European Armwrestling Federation congresses  the additional junior women class – up to 65kg was introduced. On account of the number of competitors willing to start in this weight range and on account of the large difference of the strength between competitors of 60kg and 70kg the middle class was introduced.

2.    Dope test for disabled

It was decided to introduce a dope test for disabled competitors during the European Championships 2010.

The tests will take place according to the same rules as for seniors – medalists of disabled class will allot test participation.

3.    Starting fee for disabled

In connection with point 2 (dope test for disabled) introducing starting fee for disabled was decided.

4.    Starting fee

Since 2010 European Championships starting fee will be collected for each hand separatelly (not like before, just for the class). It means that a person starting for example at 80kg class for left and right hand will pay 60 euro (30 euro for left hand and 30 euro for right hand). A competitor starting for both hands at senior, masters and disabled classes will pay respectively: 2x3x30 euro which is 180 euro for all classes.

We remind that the Polish Championships 2010 in Gdynia (10th-11th April 2010) are eliminations for the European Championships 2010.
