Europeans 2011 Has Ended # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

The last 21 fights of the European Armwrestling Championships has just ended. After more than 2000 battles at the table, the winners of this year's tournament were selected. As you can imagine, also this time just as previous years, the first places on the podium in most cases went to the teams of Russia, Ukraine and Turkey. Other countries were at the podium from time to time only.

Our team unfortunately did not win any medal in the seniors rivalry. The closest to the podium was Dariusz Groch (the 7th place), Joanna Damińska (the 8th and 6th).

Unfortunately, other players fought off only two standard contracted fights and left the scene without a shadow of doubt that although we are strong even there is still little bit missing to the best.

Organizationally we reminisce nice about the last 4 days. Competitions were held in aplesent atmosphere, in an interesting place where many people come to rest. And also thanks to that today's finals in the seniors right hand were watched by a large number of bystanders.
