Professionals’ World Armwrestling Cup - Nemiroff World Cup – Sopot 2010 is coming . On the 5th and 6th of November 2010 the best of the best in the world will arrive at Sheraton Sopot Hotel. Poland will be represented by 25 sportsmen of the National Team. Among them there will be some debutants and old tournament veterans. We as usually count on high positions in general classification of particular weight classes.

Nemiroff World Cup is a tournament for outstanding competitors, and for me it is an occasion to verify myself beside Polish and American arena.

Darek Wiśniewski is a debutant of the Professionals’ World Cup. Lately he was unbeaten for left hand in lower weight classes. In confrontations at American tournaments (Darek lives and worked in the USA) he also did really well, coming back to Poland with medals of the tournaments. How will he do at Nemiroff World Cup – Sopot 2010 with the best competitors of the world’s armwrestling. Everything will turn out at the beginning of November in Sopot.

Armpower: What is Nemiroff World Cup tournament for you?
Dariusz Wiśniewski: Nemiroff World Cup is a tournament for outstanding competitors, and for me it is an occasion to verify myself beside Polish and American arena, where I have already tried my hands. It is a kind of a point of reference where my place in formation is in this sport (smile) and I hope it to be an impulse to finally start training to fight for medal next year.

Armpower: Is this your first start at this event? Is it a distinction for you?
Dariusz Wiśniewski: This is my first start at Nemiroff World Cup and it will be more cognitive and re-search start but I will of course do my best! A start at Nemiroff World Cup is a distinction for sure as it is not some kind of tournament in Suwałki or Ciechocinek but an event where the best of the best start.

Armpower: How do you regard yourself in the rivalry with the best world’s competitors?
Dariusz Wiśniewski: I do not really know how I will come off against a background of the competitors from the other countries and I do not really know who starts. I did not see the starts list but probably I have never fought with those competitors who will appear and that is a great unknown for me. However I know who starts in this weight class for left hand from Poland, as I only start for this hand and I think that I am able to beat both Rafał and Maciek, but who knows….

Armpower: Do you have and special diet or supplementation?
Dariusz Wiśniewski: No, I am not on and diet and I do not take any supplements.

Armpower: Who in our oppinion May win the left and right hand rivaly of open class?
Dariusz Wiśniewski: I think left hand will fall a pray of Cyplenkow as he is strong and his mass is huge, especially the left hand biceps. Whereas right hand is a great unknown, and assuming that 95kg class will be really strong, competitors of this class may be really exhausted and it may vary in OPEN class, however John will be for sure well prepared and in a good form so I would be hard to beat him. Why John? Because he is John, he is a legend…

Armpower: Do any representatives of the Polish National Team have any chances for medals?
Dariusz Wiśniewski: Of course we have chances for medals. Bartosiewicz brothers are really valued. If Dawid Bartosiewicz would be about 80kg heavy and would feel good weighting 78kg he would be able to win gold, although it is a really strong class. Whereas Piotr Bartosiewicz will have a problem with Babayev…

Armpower: What can you tell Polish fans, to encouragethem to come to Nemiroff World Cup?
Dariusz Wiśniewski: In the world of armwrestling this event does not Reed to be advertised. Polish fans who are interested in this sport know what Nemiroff means and they do not have to be invited, as they are able to do a lot to come to Sopot!!!
