Armpower: What is Nemiroff World Cup tournament for you?

Dawid Groch: Nemiroff World Cup is, above all, a great sports event, a great performance, a chance to gain great fame, but also a great fun.

Armpower: Is this your first start at this event? If not what were your successes? Is this a distinction for you?
Dawid Groch: This is my third start at this event, but the second time in the 70kg class, when I started the first time in 63kg class I took a second place.

Armpower: How do you perceive yourself in a rivalry with the best competitors in the world? Do you think can manage to get on the podium in your weight class you?
Dawid Groch: I'm going to go all out, I'm able to compete with the best in the world at this weight class. I'll aim at standing on the top of the podium. I am mostly afraid of Roman Tsindeliani.

I think that I will dofantastic for both hands ;D

Armpower: Do you follow any proper preparation exercises? How do you train? Do you train with someone or alone?

Dawid Groch: During holidays I sharply perfected strength and technical aspects, I was quite focused on strengthening of the elbow attachemnet, fingers, wrists and shoulder girdle muscles. Now, I will have to strengthen the biceps, forearms and triceps. I think it will be "a firecracker."
Since October I have trained three times a week at the academic gym of Academic Sports Club ASA of Rzeszów University of Technology. In addition to that I also have sparring once a week in WIKING  Club in Nisk on Fridays at 19:00. I train alone as well as with colleagues from the club.

Armpower: Any special diet? Supplementation?
Dawid Groch: Currently, I carry out a monthly creatine cycle plus supplements as proteins, isolates, carbo, branched amino acids chain. Diet: eat enough to not be hungry and have a lot of strength.

Armpower: Who do you think will win the rivalries of open left and right hand classes, and why?
Dawid Groch: It's hard to say. I have no idea who will exactly come to the tournament, because last year a lot of strong competitors from all over the world were supposed to come, and finaly only those most popular did. There are many competitors who are able to reach the final of the Open class. I do not know how many of them will come to this year's tournament, but I keep my fingers crossed for John Brzenk, Rustam Babayev, his brother, Ruslan. Chances of victory has in my opinion, Arsen Liliev, but personally I would like to see the Open class cup-finale with the participation of Devon Larata.

Armpower: Does anyone from the Polish team has chances for a medal, and why?
Dawid Groch: I think that we will get this tournament under control this year, at least in the lighter classes. I hope that it will be white and red on the podium at least a few times.

Armpower: What can you tell Polish fans to encourage them to come and see the Polish and international competitors on the 5th-6th November at Nemiroff World Cup?
Dawid Groch: It will be severely!
