Saturday, November 14, 2009 organized by Gefle Armsport, the annual competition "Blockbrytet" for beginners and elite.

NOTE! This year the contest will be held at O'Learys in the southern part of Gävle.

Weight Classes:
Ladies beginner and pro: -60 kg, +60 kg.
Men novice and pro: -65 kg,-75 kg, -85 kg,-95 kg, +95 kg.
Possibly we will have an overall class if time permits.

Participation fee:
200 SEK/weight class Men, Women and beginners 100 SEK/weight class.
 
Weigh-in:
On Friday, at. 18.00-21.00, and Saturday at. 08.00 - 10.00 at the Avenue Hotel. Sauna available on Friday.

Competition Start:
11.00
O'Learys are open and selling food, coffee, soft drinks and light snacks.

O `Learys Bar & Restaurant. Located next to Hotel Avenue on the south. Armwrestling tables will of course be there!

Blockbrytet - Competition Rules:
1. Clothing - When you compete, you should be dressed for contest (training pants / shorts, t-shirt) as in any other sport. Jeans or similar is not allowed. Participants who don't use contest clothing and are being called to the table may be disqualified. If you have questions regarding the contest dressing - talk to the contest management.
2. Weigh-In: At the weigh-in you need to weight the exact weight or less. Eg you should compete in the- 75 kg class, you need to weigh 75.0 kg or less. No exceptions. Same for everyone. A scale is used and it is possible to check your weight the day before.
3. Novice Classes - The Novice class is a beginners class and are for those who are new to the sport to compete on equal terms.
4. Open Class - The two best from each pro class with right arm may sign up for the Open class.
In the following cases, you are not allowed to enter the novice class:
If you have won the novice class earlier on Blockbrytet.
If you have placed in the top 3 two years in a row on Blockbrytet.
If you have won your Nationals or the Nordic Championships.
