PROFESSIONAL ARMWRESTLING LEAGUE 2008 - II ROUND (Category -85 kg)

Slavi Zahariev (Plovdiv Armfight Club) with 222 points got an original revenge from the last year, winning the II Round of the Professional Armwrestling League Bul- garia ‘2008. Slavi left the last-year champion Dimitur Yulev (The municipal council of Bansko) on the 2nd place with 205 pts. Slavi got a serious advance of 17 points for the next round. On the 3rd place left Todor Genov (“Vitosha Armwrestling” Club – Sofia) with 189 points. Todor debuted by the best way for himself, he did not allowed any loss on left hand, but his right hand was for him unfaithful – at last, Todor entered the prized triad. The competition flow extremely disputed, for that indicates the fact of Hristo Delidja- kov’s (The Vice-European Champion) leaving on the 4th place. Hristo still have pain in his left hand. On right hand he lost only of Yulev, but this was not enough for Delidja- kov to insert himself into the prized triad. The 5th place left for the other debutant Daniel Golemanov (brother of Stoyan Golemanov, also from “Lokomotiv-96 – Gorna Oriahovitsa” Armwrestling Club). It was clear, that Daniel is a balanced competitor on left and on right hand – and we well be waiting for Daniel to classify himself on more prized place on the next competition. On 6th place left Viktor Balabanov (“Vitosha Armwrestling” Club, Sofia), after him on 7th place came Plamen Bambov (“Kronos Pleven” Armwrestling Club), and on the last 8th place disappointedly classed himself Martin Georgiev (“Etur” Veliko Turnovo Armwrestling Club). After this II Round, the intrigue for winning The League was involved. For the next round we are waiting for the Vice-European Champion (and last-year League Winner) Stefan Lengarov to join in. The next round of PAL will consist on July 22nd 2008, in swimming-complex “Maxi” in Sofia.
