HOOK TRAINING WITH THICK HANDLE AND PULLEY

Note that in the last phase of this exercise fingers are not engaged in the move, thus not holding the handle.

Although strong fingers play a key role in a real fight, but in this exercise we put main focus on the wrist, not fingers.

There are not many exercises in armwrestling that focus on more than one muscle group.

During a fight, when building up an attack or counter-attack, more than one muscle groups are engaged.

Exercising biceps with thick handle attached to pulley (elbow on half-table) strenghtens our biceps and elbow fastening, resulting in better stopping power during a fight.

One disadvantage here is that this exercise does not target fingers.
