On the 10th of January 2010 the The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) played for the 18th time this year. Money that were collected this year will be transferred for treatment of children with oncologic problems. Grudziądz for the following time decided to join the action. In the 3rd High School Complex numerous shows, performances and auctions took place. Music and sweet batches served in a café made the time pleasant. One of the main attractions was the show of Armwrestling techniques and strong man and strong woman competitions.
The organizer was well known Marlena Wawrzyniak (the chairman of UKS Arm Fanatic Sport ) – the strongest woman in Poland for right hand. The Armwrestling show enjoyed a great interest especially of youth and children. Competitors presented fighting rules, regulations and techniques. Everyone could try their hand in Armwrestling by the real table. Maybe in the future one of them would be able to join the Polish Armwrestling lead. UKS Arm Fanatic Sport decided to support the action in some other way. The unique Callendar for 2010 with armwrestlrs from Grudziądz was given for the action
Next the strong man and woman competitions took place. A special guest was Tomasz “Papaj” Lech who is currently preparing for the Bodybuilding Debuts. At the beginning he described everyone this sports discipline. Then referees: Marlena Wawrzyniak, Tomasz Lech i Radosław Szewczyk began the struggles of strong men and women. The competitors fought murderous battles in 3 different competitions: a run with petrol cans, pressing tire weights while lying for the amount of repetitions in 1 minute (weight: boys 30kg, girls 15kg) and tires rolling (weight: boys 30kg, girls 15kg). Numerous audience encouraged their favourites and the competitors returned slugging it out. Dramaturgy was increasing as sentries of seconds decided of the final win. The ones who won out were:
Strong woman:
1. Marta Opalińska (the 1st)
2. Milena Morczyńska (University of Gdańsk)
3. Patrycja Ojdowska ()
Strong man:

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity 2010 can be recognized as the successful one. We would like to thank all big-hearted people who supported our staff in Grudziądz.
