The first Day of the Nemiroff World Cup to Rustam Babayev’s dictation! # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

Rustam Babayev was the one who was dealing cards at a table in Ozarow Mazowiecki. He started with a warm-up, which was the whole way through his weight class for him. In total, during all of his fights in the weight -86 kg, he spent perhaps one minute at the table, and about 20 (twenty) seconds were spend on fights. How did he do that? He knew that he was irrevocably prevailing over his opponents in the weight, and was looking through half-closed eyelids, he was not pulling faces, was not tensing, he was simply standing at the table and wining fights one by one.

In the open the most important of the first day of the tournament was held between Rustam and Denis Cyplenkov. Denis attacked with all the power of his weight. Tight! He was already holding the enemy’s hand over the pad, he was holding, but not quite! Babayev’s resistance, worth the defenders of Troy, stopped the power of Denis just over the pillow and lasted this way for a few seconds. The hand over, over, maybe just one centimeter over the pad. That’s how it lasted until an interruption of the fight. A referee wrongly declared Denis’s victory. The whole audience stood up from their places, there were whistles. Babayew quietly showed on the monitor and said that he did not lose this fight. Calmly, without nerves, as if he wanted to make sure that everyone saw the same thing. Referees watched a replay and the fight was repeated. This time, Denis was "more accurate" and definitely finished off Rustam’s hand and pushed it to the pad. But it costed him a lot. None of the fans will easily forget this fight. It will talked about at many consecutive Cups.

Travis Bagent disappointed his fans and probably himself too. John Brzenk was not happy at all when he watched the fight of his countryman. What happened to Travis? He managed to win a few fights, but in fact he did not show anything we would like to remember. Even his stage conduct was like "smoked". Maybe he will do better on Saturda… However, I do not think so.

Denis Cyplenkov must be reconciled, that he prepared place for two cups in a suitcase to no avail. Today, maybe he will be able to win at least one. He is strong, terribly strong, and that was evident when he was fighting with weaker opponents. What technique did he apply? He was just going all-out, with all his mass, strength, power of muscles. But none of his fights was worth deeper analysis.

Andrey Pushkar is a horse! Concentrated as he was introverted, he never allowed himself to play, he did not talk to anyone, he was hiding from photographers’ cameras. He went out and won! What an amazing player!

The Poles came off perfectly on the first day. Marlena Wawrzyniak with the bronze, and it might have even been the silver, but it could have not be a semi-final at all. She must work on a technique of setting at the table because she had trouble with it. But the brown is the brown and there is nothing to complain about. Bravo Marlena!/

Radoslaw Staron with the silver medal is quite a cause for joy. Slawek Malas was third, and this is also the plus for our team.

The fans were great. The technique was on a high level. Chassis whacked up, I’ve been its fan since yesterday, what a f…g great band! We look forward the second day to start now.
