In the U.S., a new seat of PAL will be opened. To date, the Professional Armwrestling League has had its offices in Sofia, Gdynia and Dubai. Although the company was registered in the U.S. two years ago, it worked irregularly. Now it’s time for a change.
PAL’s great experience in organizing armwrestling competitions and its previous extensive cooperation with athletes from Europe, Asia and other continents, will now be used in the U.S. - says Igor Mazurenko, PAL promoter. - We want to develop armwrestling in the United States, to give the leading national armwrestlers a chance to develop in the best organization in the world. Many of them think highly of our activity as they had a chance to take part in our competitions (John Brzenk, Michael Todd, Tim Bresnan, Devon Larratt and others), and now it’s time to work together.
An interesting fact is that a world armwrestling legend, Andrew “Cobra” Rhodes, will become the face of PAL. Andrew and Igor Mazurenko have been friends for over 10 years.
Now together with “Cobra” and other guys we’re doing something incredible to develop armwrestling – adds Mazurenko.
For “Cobra” becoming the face of PAL and taking part in this project is an honour.
Joining PAL means coming back to the best league, the best organization and the best competitions in the world. I’m happy to join the best athletes in the world – says Andrew Rhodes. – In my life I’ve faced many challenges, so why should I be afraid now? If I devote my time, my heart, sweat, blood and tears to armwrestling, you’ll see what I’m really capable of. A legend may bury his head in the sand and face only weaklings. But I’m not like that. I have to face the best. Only then will I be really satisfied, no matter if I win or lose.
The grand opening of the new PAL seat in Las Vegas will be attended by some of the leading athletes of world armwrestling and the media. In a few days we’ll give the address of the office and write more about the event.
