Sergey Tokarev vs Richard Lupkes sounds like a real superheavyweight vs a heavyweight. Sergey Tokarev is known as one of the best technical pullers in the world. He can pull effectively in any style. He has won big titles and has been considered as one of the best 242s in the world. From other side Richard is not known as a technical puller but as one of the most powerful pullers in the world. Richard has been pulling for more than 30 years now and he has wins against many of the best pullers in the world. I am afraid that the matches will end quickly by Lupkes' incredibly side hits. I only hope that Tokarev will find a way to balance the match to create chance to apply his technical abilities as he is not very explosive puller. Not sure if Tokarev can beat Lupkes by an inside move and outside move seems a better option even though Richard has tall forearm. If the match does not end Richard's explosive hit then i am hoping for some good matches as Tokarev can create miracles at the table once he balances the match.

Round one is about to start, Tokarev looks bigger than usual. He looks determined and does not seem to be scared of Lupkes. Lupkes goes for a side move but gets an elbow foul but it did not seem like he was comfortable. on the re-start he again slowed down by Tokarev but Richard was winning when he received second elbow foul. Richard is stronger as we expected but not dominant. It started with 1-0 for Tokarev.

Second round begins, wow something very unexpected happenned and Tokarev just hooked and controlled Lupkes, Lupkes could not do much and Tokarev pinned Lupkes after a few try. It was very unexpected for me. Tokarev just seemed to be stronger than Lupkes.

Round three is about to start, Tokarev went to outside this time but Lupkes' tall forearm just followed Tokarev's back pressure and pressed him down to win. Now the score is 2-1 for Tokarev. Things are going unexpected.

Round four Tokarev did the same thing that he did on round two and hooked Lupkes. Lupkes seems helpless once he is hooked and this time it took just one move Tokarev to pin Lupkes. It is now 3-1 for Tokarev.

Round 5 is starting, Tokarev looks like he is going to hook again with his low grip and yes he did it. Lupkes did not seem to hang himself back but moved forward to support his arm with his elbow & shoulder joints but got an elbow foul. Re start Richard receives another clear elbow foul and the score comes to 4-1 now.

Round 6 Tokarev already guarantees to win the Vendetta, he may wanna do something different this round. Tokarev hooks Richard but he does not try to pin him, he allows Richard to apply his famous shoulder press but Tokarev holds him easily. Richard gets an elbow foul. The re-start Tokarev lowers himself and slowly toprolls Richard and then pins him.

I must say that for someone who is 59 years old Richard deserves utmost respect by battling these young monsters. Tokarev wins the Vendetta 5-1 after a great performance and he seems to be ready for anyone maybe except the very best ones such as Andrey Pushkar.
