Due to Andrey Pushkar's injury, his fight with Michael Todd will not take place, at least not in January. The injury is supposed to have happened a month before the Zloty Tur, resultant from too much weights during workouts, leading to elbow trouble.
So the question is now – who will stand against Todd at the January Vendetta in Vegas?
We have a few potential candidates – says Igor Mazurenko, organizer of Vendetta in Vegas. - Dmitry Trubin, Dmitry Silaev, Genadi Kvikvinia, or Levan Saginashvili. Although, seeing as Kvikvinia was injured before Zloty Tur, this may be a fight for another Vendetta.
What do the fighters themselves say of going up against Todd?
Levan Saginashvili: I would gladly face Todd, using the method that Brznek used against him. I've watched this fight several times and I think it's the only method.
Dmitry Silaev: I would love to fight Todd. I would try over the top or side pressure. I know he's a difficult opponent, given his technique. But if PAL invites me, I will be there without a second thought!
Dmitry Trubin: I've been dreaming about fighting Todd for a long time, I can face him even now!
