Armwrestling bets to return?
PAL is in the middle of talks and preparations for market entry with arm bets.

But first we need clear rules concerning the provisions related to duels - explains Igor Mazurenko, the originator of the arm-bets. - PAL does not accept elbow slips off the cushions and has very strict requirements for the rules of armwrestling. Cameras record any breaking of the rules; not every fighter agrees, however, on the rigid rules of the game. Many of them would allow in their duels minimum elbow slips, suggesting that without this armwrestling suffers as sports discipline.

Standardization of rules is still a priority for the new PAL idea. According to Mazurenko, arm-bets should not rely exclusively on spectacularity and gambling; failure to comply with the rules contained in the regulations for judges can only multiply the problems with the law and litigation.

Another important element is the answer to the question, why the PAL rules require six-round duels, not five or seven? - Asks Mazurenko. - A draw, a result of 3: 3 will also be an important part of the bets. In boxing the judges declare a draw, not the number of rounds. We are different. We need an even number of fights.

It is worth recalling that the professional league PAL has already organized sports bets before. This took place in April 2007, and sports betting, thanks to the Ukrainian company Parimatch, was accepted in four countries: Ukraine, Moldova, Russia and Kazakhstan. There was no online betting. After the misunderstanding that arose between Pushkar and Cyplenkov, PAL ceased cooperation with Parimatch and finished accepting bets. Since then it's been almost 10 years and there are indications that the bets are coming back, in a new edition. Today it's one of the most topical issues for PAL
