You changed a weight class. How do you feel after a change?

I changed the weight class because I already won 90, 100, 110 with right hand, only 110+ is remaining. This time was not so successful, but I will try to win next time.

I feel great in this category, I love to pull against strong and heavy competitors.

What category was harder for you?

The level of 110+ kg category is very high and it was more difficult for me compared to 100 kg and 110 kg with right hand.

Did you prepare for definite sportsmen? What did you expect from 110+?

For left hand I really specialized my training for Ivan Matiushenko, because he bet me last year 2 times. I was prepared for him this time, and the result was good. For the right hand I was preparing for Levan Saginashvili and Genady Kvikvinia.

How do you like Arif Ertem?

I knew that Arif is very strong but I didn’t know what to expect from him. I hope next time when I meet him, I will be better.

How do you like Europeans at all?

I liked the competition in Bucharest, but there is one thing that I can say: they say that 110 kg class will start on table #5. After that they change it in 20 minutes before start and the category started on table #3. And it’s not good. I hope organizers would fix this for Worlds.

What category will you choose for Worlds? Would you change your workouts for next competition?

At the worlds I will pull in the same weight classes - left 110 kg, right 110+ kg. I am not sure about my training program yet, maybe I will change it a little bit... I will see.
