From June 5 to 11, the Asian Armwrestling Championship will be held in Kyrgyzstan.

The host country was chosen in advance. A few years ago, the technical side of the armwrestling federation of Kyrgyzstan made a proposal to the Congress of the Asian Federation, and as a result of voting this proposal was supported.

The championship will be held in the town of Bostery on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, this is a very beautiful resort place.

We already have the first applications of participants. Among the participating countries are already Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Japan, Korea, India, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, maybe Mongolia – they have already applied, but by May 15 we expect more participants .

Fight will be in the same categories as in the world championships: age - juniors, youth, adults, veterans; Weighted ones are the same. In addition, at the same time, people with disabilities will also be struggling.
