Last year we announced this organization, Ivan Dobrorezov was supposed to be its president, but because of the conflict between WAF and PAL, we decided to postpone the full launch until we are ready.

The new branch of PAL Russia, whose main representative office is located in Moscow, is headed by Arkady Bessonov. Arkady is the organizer of the Armfight Night tournaments, in which many famous sportsmen participated.

Arkady noted that for him the development of professional armwrestling in Russia is an important task. Arkady realizes that there is possible some pressure on him from the side of the FAR, but he does not worry about it at all: many athletes who have titles in armwrestling do not see for themselves the possibility of further growth in the amateur federation, which means they will be able to realize themselves among professionals.

“Naturally, in addition to the central office in Moscow, we will develop regional offices, and we are looking for people for this, - commented Igor Mazurenko, president of the Professional Armwrestling League. - We are looking for those who are ready to organize tournaments, a large number of tournaments. This makes sense - we want to see more athletes to raise from them those who in the future will fight at the Zloty Tur and other world pro-championships".

Regional offices will be coordinated with the main one. The main selection criterion is work on the popularization of arm wrestling and experience in organizing competitions.
