Darek Gabrynowicz (Poland, Zloty Tur Gdynia) has been a part of our sport since its beginnings. He's a favourite for the podium for the upcoming World Championships. But... how does he even get there? Since he's in a wheelchair, Darek needs some support. He has to go with his wife who always comes to every competition with him.

IFA WORLD ARMWRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023 - KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA 25.09 - 01.10.2023 – it's hard to deny that it's far! If you go on foot, it's a hundred days. By plane, it's at least 16 hours. It's also pretty expensive. Darek cannot afford such a trip, and he has great chances for a medal during these championships. Help needed!

A fundraiser has been started for the oldest Zloty Tur member and his trip to Kuala Lumpur. The organizer of this event is Patryk Bianga. The idea is that the corporal of the 7th Pomeranian Coastal Defence Brigade, Robert Kujawski, does the ultra marathon everyday (from Lębork to Słupsk). He has the support of his superiors and the admiration of spectators because its an amazing challenge.

Darek Gabrynowicz has been a part of Polish, European and world armwrestling since the very beginnings for the sport. Since the first Zloty Tur in Gdynia, in the Tornado club.
