The biggest battle in the history of armwrestling is coming soon. The battle of the titans: the living legend, John Brzenk from the USA will compete in a 6 round arm fight against the young, highly talented and massively build - Denis Cyplenkov from Russia.

The fight between those two athletes in the Open category was the fight that attracted the most attention at the Nemiroff World Cup 2008 in Warsaw from both the fans and the media. Undoubtedly there were a few reasons for this fight to take place. First of all, the PAL organization was brought to life in the world's hazard center - Las Vegas; secondly after losing to John, Denis has withdrawn an offer to the promoters from the PAL organization to set up a re-match. The place of the match seemed obvious - Las Vegas. Unfortunately under some circumstances there could be only two six round PAL arm fights during the Gal of Professional Armwrestling in LV. Of course the main event will be the fight for the Heavy Weight World Champion title and the belt. The match between Jonh Brzenk from the US and Denis Cyplenkov from Russia will be a right hand fight under the PAL organization rules.

This match is to be for the PAL Organization a part of history to be written.

Let's get back to the fight itself.

Many experts have said that Denis came to the Nemiroff World Cup 2008 in Warsaw to beat Jonh Brzenk in the Open category and be the first athlete in history to claim the main trophy on both hands. However some observers pointed out that Denis had a lack of technique which enabled him to succeed. The skinny Jonh Brzenk had a clear advantage over the big Russian, an approximate 70% in his favor. Thanks to that Jonh went to take his third consecutive win in the Nemiroff World Cup. Denis feeling the taste of defeat wanted a re-match right from the beginning. The PAL organization has scheduled the re-match to take place on the 19th of June 2009 in Las Vegas, USA. This will be a right hand fight for the Heavy Weight World Championship in the PAL organization.

In my opinion if John hasn't made any progress in the past six months and his form is at the same level as at the Nemiroff World Cup 2008 then I would say that the chances are 60% to 40% for Denis or a tie. If the American athlete had the time for proper preparation then the outcome will be 80% to 20% for John. Moreover I think that Jonh has more stamina in long fights what can come in favor of the American.
