Since 2004 as the result of efforts made by the President of the Polish Armwtrsling Federation (PAF) and vice President of the professional organization Professional Armwrestling League (PAL) – Igor Mazurenko from Gdynia (Poland) the professional Armwrestling go the main sponsor to organize the annual, today really well know in the world armwrestling tournament arranged in Poland – “Professionals’ Armwrestling World Cup”. Until now the sponsor was the Ukrainian vodka producer – Nemiroff company.

So it’s no wonder that we are following any actions of the titular sponsor of the annual Nemiroff World Cup tournaments. Below there is a short information that Nemiroff may be soon taken over by another vodka producer. Will the change of the owner influence the further cooperation with Armwrestling? Time will show. Nothing will change during this year’s organization of Professionals’ Armwrestling World Cup - Nemiroff World Cup – Sopot 2010, that will take place on 5^th and 6^th November 2010 in Sopot Sheraton Hotel for sure.

Stock Spirits has exclusivity for negotiations regarding buying the leader of the Ukrainian vodka market.  This transaction may be worth even 1 billion zl.

 The owner of żołądkowa gorzka has exclusivity for talks regarding buying the leader of the vodka market in Ukraine.

As “Rz” got to know, the time for negotiations granted Stock Spirits, an alcohol group belonging to American Oaktree Capital Management fund expires in the end of August. In the midst of Nemiroff it is said that it is almost impossible to extend the negotiations with Stock. The Russian newspaper "Kommiersant" reports that buying 75-100 per cent of shares of the Ukrainian company by Stock may occur next month. Then Stock is supposed to declare how much they are able to pay.

Nemiroff is assessed at 330 – 370 mln dollars  (almost 1 billion zl). The most precious is the vodka brand that belongs to the most popular in the world. Nemiroff has also almost 18 per cent of the vodka market in Ukraine. It also controls 3 per cent of Russian market.

Marek Malinowski the chairman of Stock Polska of Stock Spirits group did not wanted to talk to us about the things regarding the Ukrainian vodka producer, - I can’t make no comments now – he cut short.
