()

Yesterday (February 15th, 2011) Gdynia sports Golden Bison club was visited by multiple World and European Champion, a leading player of the Slovakian representation  - Lubomir Jagnesak

During the visit, Lubomir shared with the armpower editors with his comments on the bond, and fighting in belts and on the needs of another, a printed armpowera edition (armwrestling fans chapter in the national  Bodybuilding & Fitness magazine) has done a training photo session. The April training section of the B&F monthly will therefore have the accent of the Slovakian competitor.

Of course, we asked this superior artist from Slovakia a few questions. Below tehre is a brief interview related to Lubomir's training.

Armpower: Lubomir what can you tell novice armwrestlers to encourage them to armwrestling?
Lubomir Jagnesak: Remember to train your head and heart. To avoid getting injured early in your career do not do crazy workouts. It is better to train slowly, with small loads. Accuracy of exercises is also very important. If you want to gain strength quickly, you should find a good coach who will guide you. I think an athlete who trains conscientiously for minium 3 years, may become a good armwrestler.

Armpower: And how do you exercise?
Lubomir Jagnesak: It all depends to what kind of competitions you are preparing.

Generally I train 3 - 4 times a week. I do a typical armwrestling training twice, once a sparring with partner, twice strength training for the entire body. Of course I run 1-2 times a week to keep  condition and dynamics.

Armpower: Who is your sparring partner?
Lubomir Jagnesak: I do not have a permanent sparring partner. Mostly I train on my own. When guys from Poland come to my FitMax Gym in Rabca, I use it and spair with them. I also often spair with a Slovakian player - Peter Kasan. I also spair with Rustam Babyevem from Ukraine. Sometimes we visit and exchange views. Rustam Babayev is probably my best sparring partner

Armpower: Do you have any strength records?
Lubomir Jagnesak: There are several. The one on wrist - 100 kg with one hand. But armwrestling it's not about records. Training should be done carefully, in the appropriate angles and depending on how you feel your hand, and what are your possibilities, with appropriately weights for the given day .

Armpower: What are your plans for the future starts?
Lubomir Jagnesak: I want to start at the European and World Championships and of course the at the Professionals' World Cup - Nemiroff World Cup.

Armpower: And who is now stronger - you or your friend with from the Slovakian team Jan Germanus?
Lubomir Jagnesak: ....

About this and about his adventure with Armwrestlingiem we will write more later on our website.
