The Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Professional Armwrestling League (PAL) and the Rom Armwrestling League (RAL) ()

Igor Unguryan, the President of RAL, said that the signing of this agreement opens up new perspectives for the armwrestling of Romania and not only.

“Today I receive dozens of calls and hundreds of messages from Romanian athletes, not only from Romania itself, but also from other countries. People ask a lot of questions and thank for the fact that at last Romanian athletes have the opportunity to develop their professional careers at the international level literally with their own hands.

Our plan is very simple.

Our organization is recognized by PAL and is the National Representative of the Unified Professional Arm Wrestling Rating (URPA) in Romania. At the first stage, we help athletes of different nationalities performing under the Romanian flag to get into this authoritative rating and take part in certified rating tournaments.

Already in spring, we will hold the first events in Romania and athletes from different parts of the country will be able to score the first rating points and compare their results with athletes from more than 80 countries, even without leaving the country.

We are also planning a number of training activities for athletes, referees and organizers of small competitions under the guidance of international experts. This will make a huge contribution to the development of sports in Romania as a whole and the promotion of armwrestling among young people.

It is an honor for us that our organization was one of the first in Europe to be provided with such opportunities and we will make every effort to raise the Romanian armwrestling to the level that it really deserves.

I want to invite all athletes to cooperation. Contact us on social networks, watch our live broadcasts, build your future in our favorite sport. "
