TOP 16 is underway, Igor Mazurenko is going to Arnold Classic in USA, where he’s meeting his partners and team, and will be handing out promotional material. Unfortunately, there is yet no answer to the question of Voevoda’s start in the TOP 16.

- Before Sochi, Alexey told me he’s going to give me an answer after the Olympics. There was a possibility of him going back to armwrestling and starting in TOP 16. But given his huge bobsledding success, we don’t know what decision he will make – says Igor Mazurenko.

Let us remind you that Alexey, along with his partner Alexander Zubkov, took the Olympic podium twice, winning gold in bobsled twos and fours.

- Voevoda and Zubkov proved to be kings of bobsled.

They will get huge prize money, and they may want to further cooperate in the future. – I will not hold it against Alexey, if he wants to stay in bobsledding – says Mazurenko. – I know his heart and soul are in armwrestling, but the bigger money is in bobsledding, we cannot offer him as much.

Right now Alexey is resting after his Olympic struggles. Mazurenko hopes that he will have his answer within two weeks.

- Whatever his decision, I’m sure he will not leave us without goodbye – says Mazurenko, who was Voevoda’s coach when Alexey was just beginning his armwrestling career.

Either way, we’re behind Alex all the way, he’ll always be a part of the armwrestling family.
