The Moscow „A1” will no longer be the most expensive tournament in the world! # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

This year will be a breakthrough in armwrestling worldwide. ()

Not only money matters!

What’s also necessary is organizers’ passion and an idea for the whole enterprise. Do people in Las Vegas have such an idea?

They’ve recently announced to the whole world, that they’ve got a lot of money. Here’s what you can read on their website:

There is a huge tournament in Las Vegas that has pay outs for each first place in each class of $10,000 and the overall winner is $20,000. Each first place winner gets a key to a brand new truck, but only one key will start the truck. Marvin Alex Cohen – organizer Joe Hand Promotions, who is the premier distributor of closed circuit pay-per-view "UFC" & boxing and special events in the country.

Dave Chaffee posted this message.

I spoke with Marvin Cohen (the man running this tournament) earlier this week and he is a great guy! Very enthusiastic about armwrestling and has big plans in helping our sport grow. I am definitely going to this one! 10 grand to the winner of each weight class/ 20000 to the winner of the heavyweight class. Plus a chance to win a new truck! I’m very excited about this one! And how could you not be with the possibility of winning those prizes?

Eventually the money prizes in professional armwrestling are comparable with those offered in professional  box and tennis.

The Moscow „A1” will no longer be the most expensive tournament in the world. They said “A” in Moscow, and Americans went one step further.

In Poland we still have our Nemiroff which nothing can equal. Because when it comes to organizing a competition, money is not enough, you also need passion!

We wish each and every organizer this passion, no matter if they are from the Kamchatka Peninsula, Prague, Paris or Las Vegas.
