III PROFESSIONALS' WORLD CUP - NEMIROFF WORLD CUP 2005. USA wins! ()

78 contestants from 17 countries, unforgettable fights, balancing on physical exhaustion, loads of fans and an amazing show broadcast live in Polsat Sport TV – this is what „Nemiroff Word Cup 2005” looked like in short words.

It all happened on 29th October, in Casinos Poland at Hotel Hyatt in Warsaw. There were seven weight categories: up to 63 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 78 kg, up to 86 kg, up to 95 kg, over 95 kg and OPEN.

Seeing as only world-class stars took part in the tournament, every fight was extremely intresting. The fight were all-out, to exhaustion, but also some quick endings.

According to observers, the best fights were in the heaviest categories, and most of them were not won by obvious favorites. That Professionals' World Cup was also missing its three times reigning champion – Alexey Voevoda, who switched disciplines to bobsleds.

In up to 63 kg, the gold went to Victor Bratchenia of Belarus, in up to 70 kg, Khadzimuzat Zoloev of Russia, in up to 78 kg Arsen Lilijek of Russia, up to 86 kg - Rustam Babayev, up to 95 kg - Dzambulat Tsoriev of Russia, over 95 kg - Andrey Pushkar of Ukraine, OPEN - to Travis Bagent from USA.

The most prestigious category of all was the OPEN, where Travis Bagent from USA reigned supreme. This is how the Cup went to USA, and to a brand new champion.
