On the first Day of World Armwrestling Championships has passed. It has turned out that yesterday’s organizational problems were caused by the oversight of the organizers in the terms of electric current. The organizers (World Federation WAF) delivered computers from USA and Canada to the place of competition. As we all know, in that part of the world the devices are supplied by the current of the voltage of 110V. However in Italy we may found the current of the voltage of 220V-230V. the effect of the connection of two different worlds was only one – burnt computers’ feeders. That is why the competitions were about 6 hours late and the eliminations began yesterday at 3:00 p.m.

the whole struggles (including finals) were carried out at 6 tables and finished at about 10:00 p.m. The decoration was moved on today. Also no results or information were published so pleas treat the below results as not official ones.

Polish Armwrestling Team gained following positions:

- Michalina Romańska - 3 place (brown medal)

- Igor Mazurenko - 4 place

- Nikola Ipnar - 4 place

- Natan Kajdas – after nice and dogged fights about 4-5 place

- Wojciech Piętak - about 4-5 place

In each yesterday’s categories over 20 competitors took parts. We may regard the results mentioned above as good ones. But I personally lack the greater amount of medals. Maybe today, on right hand our representatives will show the world that we are the country in the running.
