On the 18th of September 2010 competitors from 14 countries arrived to Germany to compete at the annual international Ovet The Top tournamnet. Among the others there were 9 representatives of wihte-red colours: Sławomir i Emil Szakoła, Rafał Fiołek, Bartosz Dziemidowicz (Szaki Club Żary), Adam Zawadzki, Radosław Sobierajski (Wałbrzych), Andrzej Hymer, Joanna Huszcza (UKS 16 Koszalin) oraz Bartosz Jakubowski (Złoty Orzeł Choszczno).

Junior OPEN class began the rivalry at the armwrestling table. A good start In this age class made the Polish National Team to win the first two medals. Emil Szakoła, after very stiff, fights won the brown for left hand and the silver for right hand.

Then came the time for senior classes. In the lightest – up to 65kg Rafał Fiołek after fast, victorious elimination fights had to recognized only the superiority of the host – German representative, yielding to him twice in left and right hand cup-finals. This way two following silver medals went to the account of the Poles.

In the next men class – up to 85kg three Polish armwrestlers took off: Jakubowski, Bartosz Dziemidowicz and Radek Sobierajski. The competitor from Choszczno came top of this rivalry as he finally rakned 5th for left hand. For right hand our competitors unfortunately took place far beyond the podium.

In the following class – up to 95kg unparalleled in the left hand rivalry Adam Zawadzki did sensationally well and home with a gold medal. He did a little worse for right hand coming eventually in third place.
 
In the heaviest weight class – over 95kg our only representative – Sławomir Szloła, after stiff fights won the brown for left hand thereby increasing the medal pool of the Polish Armwrestling Team.

The only woman in the Polish team – Joanna Huszcza won a brown medal of the left hand up to 75kg class rivalry. It was the 8th medal for the Polish National Armwrestling Team.

In Masters class our only representative Andrzej “Hammer” Hymer, despite the great will to fight unfortunately did not manage to reach the podium of Over The Top tournaments.

At the end the OPEN disabled class was held, where two competitors Bartek Jakubowski and Bartek Dziemidowicz defended the Polish colours. In the left hand cup-final the Polish armwrestlers fought for gold in a fratricidal duel, which was eventually won by the competitor from Choszczno. Thus Bartek Jakubowski won the second gold medal and Bartek Dziemidowicz – the 4th silver for the Poles. In the right hand semi-final fight a competitor form Żary had to recognize the superiority of the French competitor, for whom the competitor from Choszczno was already waiting. Beating the Champion of France in the cup-final Bartosz Jakubowski won the next gold medal for Poland and Bartosz Dziemidowicz throw in the 5th medal for our team.

“In total there were 12 medals: 3 gold, 4silver and 5 bronze in the white-red medal pool. There is no secret that for the following time we have managed to show at the international tournaments, what the Polish players can really do” – said  Bartek Jakubowski after he came back, saying further – “If it comes to our observations, the work of referees lefts a lot to be desired, they often twisted the fights scores for the benefit of the German competitors, both is eliminations and cup-final fights. And the binding of the event itself had a lot to be desired. In Poland, local rivalries were frequently held at a higher level than it was in Germany. In conclusion we came back from Over The Top with mixed feelings. It is true, we have brought medals, but a certain insufficiency  remained.
 Hopefully, next year in Wolfsburg, where the next Over The Top will take place, it will be completely different".
