There are more and more young very talented representatives of the youth generation appearing at the Polish armwrestling arena. It was nice to watch junior men and women fighting like the experienced competitors on this year, eleventh Polish Cup - Kołobrzeg 27-28 November 2010. Some people even took a good place in the general classification of the senior rivlary and showed their older colleagues what they can really achieve. In total, on the first day (right hand) 30 junior men and 14 junior women took part in the struggles whereas on the second day (left hand) 26 juniormen and 17 junior women took part. The competition was fierce and each of them come to Kolobrzeg with an aim to win a medal. However, only one could get gold.
In the
up to 57kg left hand junior class
Adrian Bonowski from Choszczno excelled, while for right hand
Jakub Kizik from Przyłęku did. In the 63kg class gold again went to a competitor from Choszczno -
Patryk Ciborowski for left and from Przyłęku -
Grzegorz Kizik for right.
In the 70kg left hand class the gold went to
Dawid Fusiara from Nisk, while for right to
Denis Klapec from Jaworzno. In the 78kg class
Jaroslaw Grulkowski from Gdynia returned home with two gold medals (left, right). Similarly, in 78kg class, Wojciech Szpringer from Przyłęk won two Kolobrzeg, gold medals.
Among women - only two junior contestants leaded. In
up to 52kg class Jolanta Shuster from Koszalin won gold medals, while in the
+57kg class the winner was
Marta Opalinska from Grudziadz.
In junior team classification the main cup went to Złoty Orzeł Choszczno (72 pts.). The 2nd place on the podium was occupied by MCKiS Titanium Jaworzno (66pkt.). The 3rd place fell to Black Scorpion Przyłęk (64pkt.). Our congratulations.
