Our team comsisted of 13 competitors. We have won 11 medals including 6 gold ones"- said Marta Opalinska from Grudziądz after the competition.
"I competed in 60 kg class. I met intera aila the Czech competitor, whom I fought with at the World Championships in Las Vegas at the armwrestling table. And this time I proved to be better. I entered the cup-final twice without any defeat and won, eventually winning two golds of the Junior Grand Prix 2011. I am glad that I'm in a stable, good shape. The rest of the team also did very well. Fights were very stiff. Poland has proved that it is has really great juniors. We cannot forget about an amazing doping carrying all the athletes. Poles also here did a brave.
I was personally, cheered on by my trainer and parents but everyone could feel great carried on the wings of doping. Poland ranked 3rd in team classification, but mainly because of large numerical advantage of ahead teams of Slovakia and the Czech Republic "- Marta continued.
"Although the Slovak, with whom Natan Kajdas fought in the cup-final was really very strong, in the result, Natan won quickly and confidently. The overall level of the competition was high. We fought stiffly. I could have done much better. Unfortunately, the attachment injury caused that for the right hand, I rakned 3rd only. In the team classification we won the 3rd place. However as a Polish team we gained the largest amount of medals."- Lukasz Bogusz, the participant of the competition told Armpower Editorials.
