For several years, Rustam Babayav fighting in 86kg class has been honoring us with his arrival. The king of light heavy weight class amazes us with his performances, as well during the year as at the Professionals’  World Cup. It is worth to mention the fact that in 2009 Rustam fought for gold in the open class with John Brzenk himself. Rustam was then so close to win and he could have been the strongest on right hand. Considering the fact that this year, in the 95 kg category Arsen Lilijew arrives, Rustam makes no secret of being  satisfied, as for quite a long time it has been said in that Arsen and Rustam should confront with each other to select a stronger one and meet expectations of all interested in this result .

 As Rustam said in a telephone interview - "I will fight to the end and will not sell my skin cheap, I’ll take off in the open class in which Arsen Lilijew will be for sure, then I will have an opportunity to show what I can. However, to resolve our dispute to the end, a six-rounds fight of the Armfight type would be useful".

"My training cycle will consist of 8 weeks, within which I intend to gain a greater form than last year. Fortunately, I have healed all the injuries, I'm not sure yet but I will try to take off in the open class on the left hand, unfortunately, because of too many injuries earlier it was not possible".

On 16th August , Rustam is beginning his preparations for Nemiroff, currently he’s resting with his family by the Black Sea. We want to announce all armwrestling fans that in August  Rustam will respond to questions in the Ask the Masters section.
