What is the level of American armwrestling? Answer can be found, looking at the line-up of January’s "Vendetta in Vegas." ()
In two top ranked duels with the best American heavyweight fighters the best will fight, but not so impressive, guys from Europe. Arsen Liliev’s duel against the American veteran Lupkeso can still be regarded as weight matched, although the Russian for over a year has not been considered to be heavyweight anymore, whereas the meeting of Zoloev Khadzhimurat and Jerry Kadorette can be easily named the fight in the "David vs. Goliath" style.
The closest armfights will undoubtedly be devilishly interesting! The same Lupkas at the last Arnold Classic got on Dennis Cyplenkov’s nerves and it will be worth to see if he has anything to compete against Arsen Liliev.
The facts are clear – finding a worthy opponent for a good European player of average weight is now impossible! To stand with dignity against Europe, America needs ten extra pounds of muscles!
A list of fights at Vendetta in Vegas looks as follows:
The main fight:
Andrey Pushkar vs. Michael Todd
Ranking fights:
Arsen Liliev vs. Richard Lupkes
Stoyan Golemanov vs Todd Hutchings
Khadzhimurat Zoloyev vs. Jerry Kadorette
To the Old New Year (13th January), and just then the show will take place, there is still some time, but already today we can easily say that the struggle of the Old and New World will end up with the unconditional victory of old Europe.
