Turkey, as you’ve already known brought quite a sizeable group of players. Contrary to Netherlands. Only two players from this country will take part in 3 classes. Now, an explanation: both payers, Borys Yeutukhorich and Zinovij Baskar come from Belarus and that’s where they were starting. Borys was a participant of the Belarusian kickboxing national team, whereas Baskar was a weight-lifter.

For Borys these are the third European Armwrestling Championships. He did not managed to reach the podium of Euro Arm yet, but he’s already won some tournaments. Baskar Zinovij makes his debut in Gdansk.

Why only those two sportsmen represent Netherlands?

Armwrestling is not a popular sport there. It is not easy to assemble a team for Euro Arm. Both players came to Gdansk at their own expense.

We’ll see Borys in seniors, and veterans 100 kg on left and right arm and Baskar in seniors 70kg on left and right arm.

Two medals would be enough for them to be 50% effective!!!
