ARMFIGHT #41 in Stara Zagora was visited by two representatives of Croatia. Jolanda Jurjevic Jakovac, the vice-president of Croatian Armwrestling Federation (CAF) and Aleksandar Jakovac, the President of the CAF. In Poland we met the for the first time at NEMIROFF WORLD CUP 2010. Then they came to see how such events are prepared in our sport. ()
It didn’t take much time for Croatia to arise in Armwrestling. During the 22nd European Championships in Gdansk was represented by 7 players. Dražen Kogl ranked 4th and 7th. Dean Lenče ranked 7th and 9th. Sandro Jagarčec was 10th. Dejan Piškorić, Marko Kogl and Azadino Mujić did not win any duel. Croatian referees: Alexander Jakovac and Bruno Klasić were refereeing in the cup-final.
Jolanda and Alexander’s reflection after visiting Stara Zagora is:
The great tournament, well organized which was for them a kind of “lesson” and gaining experience before organizing such an event in the capital – Zagrzeb. "We liked the mutual friendship of the players, who even after the hard fight are full of respect and fondness for each other."
The most interesting fight of ARMFIGHT #41 in the opinion of our Croatian guests was the fights Krasimir Kostadinov vs Dimitry Trubin. The fight was fascinating and till the end it was not clear who would win.
For this season they announce also the start of the Croatian team at NEMIROFF WORLD CUP and organizing of the Onlymenstuff International Tournament planed on 5th-8th October 2012.
