Let’s consider the configuration of the European and World Championships 2011 and 2012. Let’s take a look at +110kg class. What’s going on there? On the first place – nothing! Four successive championships, left and right arm and Andrey Pushkar on the first place. Eight gold medals for two years. In 2011 Ferid Osmanili was the second, two silver medals at EuroArm2011. In Kazakhstan silver on the left hand and bronze on the right. In 2012 in Poland, in Gdansk the Slovakian, JURAJ MICHALICKA ranked third (on both hands). After a few months he reached silever at the Worlds.

Will we see JURAJ MICHALICKA at NEMIROFF?

As we got to know from Andrey Pushkar, he was training hard before going to Brazil and he was in a perfect shape. It had to be effective. A few days after coming back home (several hours spent on plane) he resumed training. He feels great and he’s full of beans.

Was it hard to win gold at the World Championships?

Andrey: In fact, I didn’t have any problems, either on the right or left hand.

Just a walk?

Andrey: I wouldn’t call it so.

Who was the toughest opponent?

Andrey: The Slovakian, Juraj Michalicka on the right and left hand.

Have you already heard that Denis Cyplenkov won’t come to NEMIROFF?

Andrey: Yes, I have.

What did you think when you got to know that? Are you happy?

Andrey: Of course! I’ll have less opponents wanting to win the cup! To be more serious, NEMIROFF has a high, yearlong rank and gathers so many strong and experienced athletes that absence of one or two of them changes nothing. Anyway I have to work harder than ever.

Who can we see on the podium in your opinion, apart from you of course?

Andrey: Arsen Liliyev, Tim Bresnan and some other guys can try to win it. It’s going to be something!
