Said Igor Mazurenko after losing two matches in the masters category on the first day of the championships.

It's not possible to organize such a big competition and take part in it at the same time. Igor has been trying to do that for 13 years, but without success. In the past, the level of the competition was not that high and the preparations before the event didn't take so much time. Igor felt like fighting, though, and during the championship in 2001 he tried to combine his duties as a host with being a competitor, but it didn't work out as he got injured before the competition.

Then, he decided to have a go during the championships in 2004, but he couldn't compete either. Due to failure of the computer system he had to work day and night before the event. However, he didn't give up and climbed the podium last year, during the European Championships held in Gdynia.

This time the situation looked like that. The WAF Congress ended at 3 a.m. last night, Igor got two hours of sleep, then he took part in the official opening ceremony and... After half an hour Mazurenko was again wearing a suit and focused on his duties as a host.

What's the conclusion? Igor! If you want to get a gold medal, go to Kazakhstan!
