Six times world champion tells us about the woman’s place in this amazing sport ()
How old were you, when you started armwrestling?
I started when I was about 15 years old. My father trained armwrestling and I liked it a lot! So my father is what got me started.
Do you think that armwrestling is a man’s sport?
It might seem like it, but it’s a great sport, and it’s not only for men, but also for women! It’s the same as with weightlifting – women do that too!
But some men might not agree, especially when they get defeated by you.
It’s always funny to defeat a man.
They just cannot believe they got beat by a woman! More humbleness, guys!
How do people react when they hear about what you do?
I think people around me like and respect the sport. Especially seeing as it’s getting more popular these days.
Do you feel good in armwrestling?
Armwrestling is a power sport, I’ve loved it from first sight! And when you love something this way, you’re going to keep thinking about it, and keep doing it, even when you’re feeling weak, injured, even when you’re pregnant. It’s something inside you.
