How did you get into armwrestling? Is there some interesting story behind it?
I started armwrestling in secondary school in 2006 when I got involved in armwrestling competition between schools and I fell in love with it from the start. I always wanted to do power sports and this was something that suited me most.
Why did you choose armwrestling?
I am a very competitive person and what I choose to achieve I go for it no matter what. I have a goal and when I reach it that is something that pushes me forward.
Do you recall some funny / interesting armwrestling related stories from your life?
Once I broke my toe in the gym while lifting the weights and one of them fell on my foot. The next day we had an armwrestlers representation competition and I could not miss it so I went to it instead of going to the doctors.
I won the competition so I was happy but after a week of pain I finally went to the hospital and I could not walk for a month.
What are your most important armwrestling achievements up to date?
I am a doubled champion of Slovakia in 2010 and sixteen times winner of Slovakian National league which are most important achievements for me. In 2013 I was in Top 5 of the best armwrestlers in Slovakia and I was third in Nemiroff World cup twice, which I am also proud of.
How do people (men, family, acquaintances) react when they find out that you are an armwrestler?
I see it differently . I dont really notice how people react of course I am glad when they support me but everyone has their own point of view at what I do. As far as I can say men are afraid of me .
What is your main attraction to armwrestling?
The power , the atmosphere of it, the fights ,the adrenaline in my blood, the taste of the victory.
