Janek, you're going to Bulgaria for the World Armwrestling League!

Yes, I'm going to be a part of the competition that will take place on the 29^th of September in Elenity, Bulgaria. I'm still at the stage of veryfing the fine details.

How did you get into this competition?

I have recently received a call from Igor Mazurenko, informing me of the invitation. And I was invited because recently I've been doing really well and it has been noticed.

How will the fights look?

Generally, they will be fought by league rules, everyone fights everyone. First left arm, then right, all in all 14 fights for me. I never fought like this before, this will all be new to me.

Standard question – how are you preparing?

Unfortunately, the news came late, so I don't have much time to prepare and work on my shape. I've had a bit of a holiday and took a break from training for almost two months.

My trainings are going to be mainly isometric and starts, I don't have time to build strenght now.

On the upside, I have no pains and I can go 100%!

My form is an unknown quantity, but I can promise that I'll give it my best and won't let go, no matter who I meet at the table. I'll show them Polish power!

What place do you expect to take?

I'm willing to give my all. Last year, in the WC's I wanted to get into the first 10, but this year there will be 8 opponents, so I want to be in the first 8 (laughs). But seriously – I'm going to aim for the first four, and we'll see how that works out for me.

Who's your biggest opponent?

It's hard to tell right now, I don't know the starting list. I'm at the stage of veryfing the details. But I know there will be strong and experienced guys there, so it won't be easy. Each fight will require maximum concentration.

Will we be seeing you at the WC's in Lithuania?

No, I'm on holiday, and this year is a year of regeneration for me. I knew I wasn't going to fights in Vilnius. I'm going to use that time to prepare for Elenity.
